Amelogenesis Definition
Amelogenesis is a disease that forms enamel on teeth. It occurs during the crown stage of a person's tooth development or during the formation of dentine.
Amelogenesis Types
Amelogenesis has two stages. The first stage is called ?secretory phase? wherein proteins and organic matrix form a partially mineralized enamel, while the second stages is known as the ?maturation stage? wherein the enamel mineralization is completed.
