Mastectomy in different forms has long been part of breast cancer treatment plan. Chemotherapy uses drugs to destroy cancerous and cancer cells. Hormone therapy is utilized to treat women whose cancers are receptive to hormones to reduce the incidence of recurring breast cancer.
