Clap is a contagious sexually-transmitted disease commonly known as gonorrhea. It is an infectious disease characterized by swelling, pain and abnormal discharge in the genital areas.

Gonorrhea can be diagnosed based on the symptoms presented by the patient.
Clap Symptoms and Signs
Among the symptoms of gonorrhea are swelling of the genital areas, pus, abdominal pain, and pain during intercourse. Flu-like symptoms are common as well. When not treated, gonorrhea can cause complications such as the Pelvic Inflammatory disease (PID), as well as other infections in different organs of the body.
Clap Treatment
Treatment for the disease includes antibiotics such as penicillin and azithromycin.
