Food Intolerance
Food Intolerance Definition
Food intolerance is an adverse reaction of the body to certain foods. A person may experience sudden reactions such as spasms, abdominal pain and weakness each time he consumes a certain kind of meal. This may be caused by an enzyme deficiency which should function to accommodate the food in the body's digestive tract. Food intolerance should not be confused with food allergy since it is not an autoimmune reaction.
