Gonorrhea Causes


The bacterium Neisseria gonorrhoeae, is also referred to as gonococcus, causes gonorrhea. The bacterium is spread through semen or vaginal fluids during unprotected sexual intercourse, heterosexual or homosexual, with an infected partner.
