Gronblad-Strandberg syndrome, also known as Pseudoxanthoma elasticum, is a genetic disorder that affects certain connective tissues in the body. In this condition, calcium as well as other minerals are deposited in the connective tissues causing abnormalities in the eyes, skin, gastrointestinal system and cardiovascular system.
