Guerin-stern syndrome is another name for intrauterine hypokinesia. It is a congenital condition wherein several joints are deformed, such as those in the wrist. This results to the dislocation of the carpal joints. Other deformities caused by this condition include clubfoot, hip dislocation, vertical talus and delayed maturation.
