Nevi Causes
Nevi are said to be caused by an uneven distribution of melanin whereby melanocytes group together and form moles.
Nevi Definition
Nevi otherwise known as the Moles, are clusters of pigmented cells that is usually small, and dark brown in color spots. It is usually not harmless but in some cases they are cancerous.
Nevi Diagnosis
Diagnosis includes physical examination of the mole and take a sample of the tissue of the person's mole to determine if its cancerous or not. If the mole is suspected to be cancerous then a biopsy may also be used to confirm the condition.
Nevi Symptoms and Signs
Symptoms includes the occurrence of a plain, small and brown spots which occurs in the body's different parts.
Nevi Treatment
Though moles are usually harmless, people who wants to take off their unwanted moles may seek their dermatologist for mole removal. For cases where the mole is cancerous, excisional surgery, shave excision and punch biopsy may be used to removed the cancerous moles.
