For a definite diagnosis, the following tests are recommended: ultrasound scan, fine-needle aspiration (FNA) biopsy, and other diagnostic tests, including magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) computerized tomography (CT) scan, and positron emission tomography (PET) scan.
