Parapsoriasis Causes
As of this time, there is still no known cause of Parapsoriasis. However in the case of Pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta, there are many links from viruses, other illnesses, and vaccines, are made. At some point, it has been evidently associated to the PVB19 parvovirus.
Parapsoriasis Definition
Parapsoriasis is a term that refers to a group of disorders involving the skin. These are most of the time characterized as having similar characteristics to psoriasis which usualy is red, with scaly lesions. Neoplasms has also been found to also devleop from parapsoriasis just like in the case when it develops into a fatty tissue which is often cutaneous T-cell. Examples of this disorder includes Pityriasis lichenoides chronica and Pityriasis lichenoides et varioliformis acuta.
Parapsoriasis Diagnosis
The disease is commonly mistaken to be chickenpox or rosacea. Most often, doctors use biopsy to properly and accurately do the diagnosis. Although this disorder has not been found out to threaten the life of the patients.
Parapsoriasis Symptoms and Signs
Symptoms include red lesions in the skin which are often scaly.
Parapsoriasis Treatment
Because the disorder is deemed not contagious, at present there isn't a known cure for it. The lesions though, can very well be treated by employing ultraviolet therapy.Topical steroids and and also the use of antibiotics are used as treatments for the lesions. Treatments usually employed involves many various therapies usually targeting the patient's immune system and some causes like bacteria, virus, or other dermatological causes.
