Pseudoachondroplasia is a kind of dwarfism that results to shortened limbs. It is an autosomal dominant genetic defect that occurs at the first 2 to 3 years of growth. The disorder is usually observed by a slower walking progress and wadding gait.


Pseudoachondroplasia Symptoms and Signs


As pseudochondroplasia develops, lumbar lordosis and rhizomelic shortening of the arms and legs become more evident. Patients with the disorder also suffer from osteoarthritis.
