Quantal Squander Syndrome Definition

Neuromyotonia, also known as quantal squander syndrome, is a rare disease that consists of abnormal movements due to dysfunctional impulses at the peripheral nervous system. These unusual impulses may continue even during sleep. Intensive cramps, muscle pain and stiffness may be experienced at random instances, making it hard for the muscles to relax.
