Spider veins are short, thin capillaries that appear on the areas of the skin where pressure is usually concentrated. The areas where spider veins usually appear are on the thighs lower limbs and the face. They are similar to varicose veins. Women usually worry about the appearance of spider veins and varicose veins. The exact causes for the development of spider veins are unknown, but they can be removed by sclerotherapy.
