Sudden Adult Death Syndrome
Sudden Adult Death Syndrome Definition
Sudden adult death syndrome (SADS) is an unexpected halt in the body systems leading to immediate death. There are no symptoms of death but warning signs include sudden loss of consciousness while in the middle of strenuous activities. Cardiac arrhythmias usually are the cause of SADS. Prevention can be done by taking meta-blocker medications to reduce the onset of cardiac arhrythmias.
