Diagnosis is made through physical examination particularly that of the pelvic and wet prep inspection.
Vulvitis Symptoms and Signs
Symptoms includes burning or itching of the vulvar skin, thickening of the vulvar, vaginal discharge and possible cracks in the vulvar skin.
Vulvitis Treatment
Treatment includes administration of over the counter cortisone creams, administration of antibiotic for possible infections and biopsy of the skin to rule out other chronic diseases such as the vulvar dystropy and dysplasia.
