Type 1 Xeroderma pigmentosum other wise known as the Xeroderma pigmentosum group A is the most classical form of Xeroderma pigmentosum whereby the gene variation involves the XPA located at the 9q22.3. Its symptoms are the same as those of the Xeroderma Pigmentosum itself and the only difference is the gene variation and its location.
