Type 2 Xeroderma pigmentosum or the Xeroderma pigmentosum group B is a complementation subgroup of the main disorder Xeroderma pigmentosum. The gene variation involved in this subtype of the Xeroderma pigmentosum is the XPB gene located at the 2q21. Symptoms are the same as that of the Xeroderma Pigmentosum.
